2: We also have our Internship application for those seeking more experience to become a better coach or those seeking a career change - this is why our Internship programme was created.

Doc Fitness is continually in a state of growth and we are on the hunt for an enthusiastic coach for our facility based in Oranmore Business Park, Galway.
Ideally we are looking for a coach with 1-2+ years experience but we are also open to coaches with less experience as we have different staff development pathway options available.

Hold a level 3/4 qualification or sport science degree
Have a passion & love for training, nutrition & helping people

The Doc Fitness internship program is an incredible learning opportunity that will dramatically improve your coaching skills. The internship is a hands-on, learn-by-doing based program in which you will be coaching adult/general fitness clientele to improve their strength, fitness, wellbeing & nutrition.
Who this is For:
You are recently qualified but lacking in experience & want to get a head start in the Industry
You are considering a career change into Personal Training
You are currently in college and/or studying to become a PT & want to get hands on experience
Duties & Responsibilities:
Teaching and coaching the warm-up (Mobility, Activation, Dynamic Movement, Alterations for restricted clients)
Strength Training Instruction (Fundamental Strength Development, Fundamental Movement Patterns, Motor Control/Stability Training and more)
Conditioning (Rowing, Biking, Skiing & overall energy system development)
Gym set-up and breakdown
Daily housekeeping tasks
Attendance at weekly education events, creation/development of presentation discussing learning experience from internship program
